  • Stability balls are large, inflatable balls used to strengthen and tone the body, particularly the core muscles of the pelvis, abdomen and back.
  • To use a stability ball safely and effectively, it must be the right size for your body.
  • Please use the chart above to help select your approbate sized fitness ball.
  • Stability balls provide an opportunity for toning and stretching; however, they do require a substantial amount of balance, and falls are a possibility.
  • Start with simple exercises that keep your feet anchored on the floor and move toward more challenging ball routines as your fitness improves.

HOW TO PROPERLY INFLATE YOUR NEW EVERLAST FITNESS BALL


Step 1
STEP 1
  • Remove the ball from the box and bag, lay flat on the ground.
  • Using your fingers, carefully remove the plug. This plug may have an indentation that resembles a hole to insert the pump into but this is not an air hole, the entire white piece must be removed.

  • Find the two-way action pump & inflation guide tape.
  • The easy to use inflation guide tape ensures you get the inflation required for proper use.
  • Wrap the guide tape around the Fitness ball and inset the pump through the tape & the pump nozzle into the hole on the ball.
Step 3
STEP 3
  • Inflate the ball to approximately 80% of the recommended size.
  • Put one of the flat-headed plugs in the ball and let sit for 24 hours.
  • After the 24-hour resting period, remove the flat-headed plug and continue to inflate the ball to the correct size.
Step 4
STEP 4
  • Inflate the ball until the guide tape is a snug fit to your fitness ball, the tape should not be loose or overly tight to the ball. See image above.
  • Remove guide tape & put the flat-headed plug back into the ball again and you are ready to use your new ball.
  • Never inflate your Exercise Ball greater than the guide tape or labeled inflation size.
